We Ride
to Honor the Lives Lost on
September 11, 2001.
The Web Riders,
The Dangerous Curves
Chapter of Women in the Wind
and the Old Town HOG Chapter are coming together on Friday, September 11, 2009 to honor the memory of those lives lost 8 years ago in the terrorist attacks of 2001.
You are invited to come out to view the procession of patriotic riders as the group revs and rumbles their way through the center of Land O'Lakes.  At 7:00 pm the fanfare leaves from the area of SR 54 and Hwy 41 N and heads North on US Hwy 41 toward Ehren Cut-off, to pass by the Florida State Veterans Nursing Home on Parkway Blvd.
(We expect to pass Baldomero Lopez Veterans Home at approximately 7:10pm)

Local residents are encouraged to come out to cheer, wave and observe the spectacle of show bikes and colorful characters who stream through the Lake Padgett neighborhood along Parkway Blvd on to Collier Blvd and past the Land O'Lakes Library at approximately 7:25 pm.  This line of bikes will circle around to the 54/ 41 intersection on their way to
Hungry Harry's Famous BBQ
for a post-ceremony feast from 8 - 9 pm.
(proceeds of BBQ will be donated to the Baldomero Lopez Florida State Veterans Nursing Home.)
